ZOU VIN DE FRANCE ROUGE

France is one of the most important wine growing nations in the world. At the heart of its winemaking heritage is the concept of “terroir”, which describes how a grape variety expresses itself in terms of flavor, aromas, and color, depending on the conditions under which they are grown conditions (soils, winds, temperatures…). France offers a fascinating diversity of terroirs like no other country.

Our team of experts have selected Grenache and Carignan grapes coming from dry and warm areas. These two varietals are very well suited to warm climates. The resulting grapes are ripe, balanced, and healthy.

WINEMAKING

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, after which they are destemmed and divided into two parts. One follows a modern process of hot skin contact maceration before the juices are fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. This process extracts and enhances the varietal’s aromatic qualities. The other part is traditionally fermented with the skins for about ten days, adding structure to the wine. At the end of the winemaking process, both parts are blended into a youthful and easy-to-drink wine.
